1948 An ophthalmologist Dr. Akira Naito established The Institute of Naito Optical Instruments, Inc.
His company developed and marketed the ophthalmic instruments invented by fis father Dr. Ryuichi Naito,
who was also an ophthalmologist. The company is the predecessor of Neitz Instruments., Ltd.
1965 Dr. Akira Naito established Neitz Instruments Co., Ltd, with a capital of JPY 1,000,000
to succeed the business of The Institute of Naito Optical Instruments, Inc.
Started business in Honshio-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.
1967 Increased the capital to JPY 4,000,000.
1974 Built a new office building in Sanei-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo and relocated the office.
1979 Increased the capital to JPY 10,000,000.
1986 Built a new office building in Wakamatsu-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo and relocated the office.
1986 Increased the capital to JPY 20,000,000.
1997 Affiliated with Menicon Co., Ltd.
2004 Increased the capital to JPY 98,000,000.
2009 Transferred the business of magnifying screens to Nishizawa Electric Meters Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
2010 Affiliated with Nishizawa Electric Meters Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
2015 Relocated the office to Ichiban-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
2017 Establishment of Neitz Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., an overseas branch in China.
